I had my LO on 12/19/12! I woke up on the 18th at 6:45 am to a phone call from the hospital telling me to go in that morning for an induction! My mom came and picked me and OH up and we went to the hospital. I was only 1cm dilated and 50 percent effaced so they put a small pill on my cervix to soften it. They did this around noon and they had to do two pills before they started pitocin. Around 8pm they started the pitocin. I got lucky and didn't really feel any pain from the contractions. Around 10pm my water broke and i started to feel the contractions. They didn't hurt but I was starting to have back labor so I had the epidural. I started pushing between 4-4:30. At the end of pushing the baby started to stress because she was face up and got stuck on a bone. The doctor told me that if I didn't have her within the next two contractions I would have to have an emergency csection. On the next contraction she ended up coming out! My baby girl Veronica Elizabeth Marie was born at 7:09 am on the 19th! She weighed 8lbs 7oz and was 21.2 inches long! She is absolutely perfect!
