Had my scan today! :-)

Hi, I am 35, have a 15 year old daughter, but have had 2 MC's (Dec and Mar).
I had tests for recurrent MC's but nothing was found.
I went for a 6 week scan today, but only saw a small sac, I know I ovulated at day 23 and not day 14, so I think I could be less than 5 weeks pregnant which looking on the internet you would only see a small sac!!

The blood test results were hcg - 1010 and Prog 71.6
I have now been given Progesterone pessaries to help things along.

Has anyone had similar and able to offer any advice xx

Since you know you OV'd approximately a week later then the 'normal' 14 days, than it sounds like your scan is perfect for your dates. Do they plan to do another scan in a week or two, so you can see the heartbeat?

I had more blood tests today and my hcg has doubled in 48 hours, so they plan to scan me again in 2 weeks to check things are still ok..

Good news about the hcg. Sounds like everything is going along as it should be.
Now you just get to enjoy the 'fun' of waiting for your scan.

Had my 2nd scan today, due date according to my LMP should be 8 weeks, but they dated by about 5w5d today...
I did see a little tadpole and a HB though.

Scan again in 2 weeks
