Hair experts help! (curling)

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow.

I wanted hair kinda like this:

I put rollers in my hair last night and slept on it, and tbh, it did kinda work. But my hair is a good bit shorter, so the tight curls have made my hair now go to chin length! So I don't know how to fix it and I only have one more chance to get it right (tonight).

I put some big rollers at the bottom sections of hair and then had those long skinny foam rollers for the top bits. Did I use the wrong type of rollers? I don't mind going to buy more if I know it'll work. Can anyone help point in the right direction?

Use curling tongs or straightness hun.

Let the curls rest for half an hour or so spray with hair spray.

Put a brush through them gently. Done!

Or use large and medium size rollers as small will make shorter curls. C
