Hair still thin and lank - one year + after giving birth

Hi ladies, when charlie was 4 month my hair shed like crazy. I had no bald patches but it went so thin round the sides and i now have crazy tufts of 3 inch hair all over. Anyway, my hair was always thick and now its so thin everywhere its awful. Ive had bloods done and i have low ferritin but ive had this for years for which i am on constant iron supplements.

anyone else's hair never gone back to normal after having a baby?

I actually had a bit of a balding spot on the back of my head after LO was born and my hair came out in clumps- it took months to just stop shedding AS bad. Although I shed like crazy all my life! lol. But yea, it took about a year or so for my hair to get more normal again. Maybe with all the thinning- the shorter hair just needs more time to grow back?

Sorry I'm no real help. I did take my pre-natals for about a year after LO too though- as I know it can take that long just for our bodies to get back to "normal"- whatever that means! lol.
