Saw this name for a girl - wondering what other opinions are. It's very unusual to me and not sure what to think of it

It sounds a bit boyish to me - partially because I know a guy named Hal

Not really sure how it's pronounced TBH, just saw it written but I was pronouncing it like Hal-sten. It does sound masculine.

I'm sure it's a make of clothing? In fact I just googled and yes it is https://www.halston.com/. Personally I don't like the sound of the name, but that just seals it for me.

I try not to comment if I don't like the name but I thought I'd throw the brand name out there. x

Interesting to learn it's a brand name....That would put me off I think, but I'm also just not a fan. Unfortunate because I know of someone who named their baby girl Halston Avery last name starts with M too so initials HAM on top of it all

To each's own - thought it would be fun to see other's opinions on such an unusual name
