Hands Up If Your LO Has Ever Eaten Sudocrem...

...WITH A SPOON!!?!!

Yep, upon collecting him from his nap not long ago, DH discovered that he had quite a nappy blowout...one where he had to be changed as a tag-team and stood on his feet until it was all cleared from his back to put a clean one on.

Then, DH went to gather the dirty linens to go through the wash as I put a load of freshly washed whites into the dryer. We were both gone from the room MAYBE 3 minutes when I hear DH walk into the room to exclaim, "Oh shit!"

Sat on the floor was our angelic 12-month-old with the large pot of Sudocrem (that I THOUGHT I placed out of reach on the sofa)...hands and mouth covered in white...and he was using a SPOON!!

At least he's well-refined, right?

I'm not too worried as I know it's on NHS Direct's low-toxicity lists and I don't think he managed to get much in his mouth -- at least not before he realised it really didn't taste like yogurt. But I know better now his reaching capabilities and will have to be a better mommy when it comes to putting stuff like that away.

haha love it! Amy has eaten it before, but never with a spoon!! I've found her before with her hands right in it, all over the floor and all over her face.

Sadly, no. I wasn't quick enough to get the camera as DH took over cleaning up the mess on the carpet and I took over cleaning DS and checking his mouth to see how much got in.

LO has never eaten diaper cream, but he did get his paws on a tube of lube from beside OH and I's bed one day!

My daughter got it! I changed her, applied the sudo cream and then turned around to organize the diaper bag quickly though apparently not quickly enough as she had grabbed the tub sitting beside me and covered herself and my back (I thought she way just patting me!) Oh and that was the time we found out it does stain

We've had a bit of Sudocreme but I've also walked into her room to find her with her head tipped back squirting Johnsons baby lotion in her mouth, swallowing and going for more! No idea how much of the bottle she drank!

Sudocrem, Zinc and Castor Oil cream and Katies current fave is Johnson bedtime cream, she eat it like its juice in a bottle.
