Where do the people who dont have a fireplace hang them?

Im stuck for ideas

i've got emilys on her wardrobe door lol thats
the one ill be sticking pressies in :flower:

think i might buy a few more and just put
them up on one of the walls for decoration though

You can buy those weight-type-things with hooks on them - just realised how bad that explanation was. Sometimes they're metal (sometimes reindeers, etc) and you can place them on the edge of a shelf or windowsill, etc, and they have a hook on for the stocking. I think I best find an example..

EDIT;
Like this; https://images.crateandbarrel.com/is/image/Crate/ReindeerStockingHkSlvrF7?$family$

You can get them in TK Maxx though.

mine put theirs on bedroom door handles when they go to bed and i have identical 1s (that i have already filled) that i will swap them for when i goto bed!!! not expensive 1s but £1 shop.

^^ thats a good idea!

noted for when she's older!

We've been in this situation and have laid the stockings on the couches, or hung them up on the wall, or on the staircase. :)

on the end of the bed or on the walls hun will ad to your deco. xxx

We put ours on the end of the beds so its the first thing they see in the morning it also means we get longer in bed as the kids are busy with their stockings.

We used to hang them on our door handles on xmas eve then 'Santa' would fill them in the night and leave them on the floor outside our doors.

we hung ours on this bar area we have above the kitchen sink. We use the weighted hooks but these won't work once the stocking has stuff in it so on Christmas eve I will fill Hannah's and Stan's stocking (he does mine of course ) and we'll lay it out on the presents by the tree

Ours go on the end of the bed and we do the pre-filled quick swap too lol saves so much time at stupid o clock in the morning! We use pillowcases though lol!

Ours were always hung over the banister at the top of the stairs

I have hammered some small metal tacks above our gas fire into the rail thats goes around my lounge......the tacks stay in there all year and come in handy for trailing our xmas lights round too :)

We have a fireplace but my parents never wanted to put nails in the wood to hang them there  so they put them at the ends of our beds, outside our bedroom doors, or on the steps leading downstairs for when we got up in the morning.

We used to use pillowcases in my house too, we just layed them on the fireplace xx

we used to just lay them on a sofa, as there was 3 of us we each chose a sofa/chair and in the morning all our stuff was on that chair with our stockings and under the tree was all ones to/from family, santas were on the chair :D

more recently tho as were all older and its not a mountainfull of stuff just a few nie things we put them under the tree as we buy/wrap them and santa puts a couple of things under there on xmas eve, with our stockings. I'll just need to start doing a stocking and pile of santa gifts for Ava next year. :D

We had a fire but hung our stocking either outside our door or on end of our bed so when we got up at 4am!!! YES 4am it gave us something to do for a while....

We have a fire now but unless I find a weighted thing like in a previous post Nathans will just go under the tree until he understands christmas and can be trusted not to eat the whole of the stocking!!!

mine put theirs on bedroom door handles when they go to bed and i have identical 1s (that i have already filled) that i will swap them for when i goto bed!!! not expensive 1s but £1 shop.

that's genius!
