Well this morning Hannah had been asleep for 4hrs after her feed and I was at the breast feeding support group where I normally get her weighed. I talked to the HV and we decided to do a test weigh to see how much milk she is getting from me. So we weighed her first and she was 10lb 4oz which is only a 2oz weight gain for the week. So I put a dry nappy on her and fed her.
An hour later we weighed her again with a very wet nappy and altogether they weighed 10lb 7oz so 3oz difference. The nappy on it's own weighed 2oz!!
So am I right in thinking that she had 3oz of milk and wee'd out 2oz of fluids? Is it good or should I not judge her weight as 10lb 7oz?
I'm confused
