I went to my sons meeting, first meeting for intervention, and I cant be happier.
They provided me with a draft of what they observed and more.
We went over the draft of his program they want to start on, and I am so happy with it. They allowed me to pick what I felt was his needs right now. I have hope, hope things will be ok. Yes small steps, yes repetetive and strict routine is needed. I cant wait till Monday when it all begins. He is going to be learning how to put on off his shoes, his jacket, brush his teeth, go potty, try new foods, focus, stay on task, take turns, speak (altho I didnt speak to the dr today) Will be showing how to match things, how to organize things, write, color.. He will be getting another hearing test done, cus I dont think he really truly passed the hearing test that he had in August cus of his vowels, he only pronounces those. He is so bright and they feel he will do good. Im so happy. He is diagnosed with atypical autism as of right now, with adhd. I do hope his main 1 on 1 teacher wont be over whelmed!
