I finally had my son Pierce James Atom
So i was to be induced 5/29 at 7:30 pm but the night before at about 11 i started having vaginal pain and went in to get checked out.. to find out i havent dialated anymore!!! so since it was at that time only 16 hours till induction they decided to keep and induce me then. All was well untill they inserted the cervadil after which i started having serious stomache pains (not contractions) i couldnt stop i started vomiting and then they couldnt find the baby at that point they were all trying to get me to stop shaking and vomiting so they could find him they had to sedate me at which point they found i had a fever which led them to believe i had a uterine infection and they gave me tylenol and iv antibiotics where i freaked out and had them take the cervadil taken out i was 3 cenimeters (this all happening in about 2 hours from cervadil implantation) after sedation i was on oxygen and started going in and out still couldnt lose the fever or shakes they ordered my epidural i got it at 5 cenimeters which stopped all my pain ( i started having real contractions at 5 cenimeters) but still had my fever and the babys heartrate was dropping i was checked i was 8 cenimeters but the baby was in distress and they noticed my placenta was too thick to deliever naturally and i was prepped for emergency c-section i delievered i heard him cry and saw him on the table and his daddy cut the cord i kissed him and they took him to clean him up and move him while i went to recovery i made sure to mention i needed to breastfed after 2 hours in recovery i was told i was going to maternity to see and feed the baby but they cant bring him to me cause they cant keep him warm he needs to be on the warmer he is cold so transport got there and took me to level 6 not maternity come to find out they transfered me to cardiology do to my heartrate through labor and recovery but they still wouldnt take me to the baby or vice versa so i started freaking out and the cardiologist came right away and cleared me to be on the maternity floor where i finally got to see my son hours after his birth. but luckily he is very healthy and im still recovering he didnt take to breastfeeding but he loves to eat!
