Gah, it took me FOREVER to get to sleep lastnight, apparently baby decided to start training for the boxing championship . Every time I was drifting off, I'd get this huge wack to my tummy and it went on for a couple of hours. I wasen't expecting the baby to keep me from sleeping until I was at least 28 week lol, I guess the 2nd time around everything starts earlier . Anyone else have an over active baby at the wee hours of the morn?

I cant sleep at night anyway no idea why recently I have been feeling it pock me hard at night while im in bed its really weird i only started feeling it properly from last saturday its amazing cant wait till its more fregent lol i must be mad

lol we'll be zombies from lack of sleep .

I think Alfie used to invite his freinds over of a night time......he was always on the go and stopping me sleeping!

Ohhh the joys, eh?!

I've had this too!! It sucks. The past few nights, I've been going to bed after midnight... and I'm usually in bed around 9. I try drinking a cup of decaf tea since it makes me sleepy, and ignore it. Not really working great tho lol. Hope you get some sleep! :hugs:

I have been having the worst time with sleep  It's hard to get comfy because I've been having pains on my upper thighs and when I do fall asleep I wake up an hour later. I guess my bodies training itself for lack of sleep.

Oh do I know how you feel, with twins it seems like there's not a minute of the day that i'm not getting kicked or punched, if it's not one it's the other, but a lot of the times it's both of them! And they always seem to calm down at night but when I lay down for bed they kick for hours lol

I woke up like a million times last night. Had this rumbling in my tummy all night long, like I was hungry but I wasnt. Still here this morning... think I must be coming down with something.

Hope you sleep better soon :) Must be lovely feeling it kick.

xxx

Oh my gosh I didn't know there were twins on the board, congrats alloyd519!!

I was doing fine up until a few weeks ago. My lil one puts on a show from 7pm all the way through to the next morning. I have gotten use to it for the most part, but it does wake me out of my sleep quite a bit. But either way I'm so entertained by it all I can't complain too much because I'd rather that then them not move much. But it sucks when you realise it's Monday morning, you've barely had any sleep and you have to go to work..argh! Talk about cranky LOL.

Glad to know I'm not the only one suffering from lack of sleep
This past weekend was ok, only got woken up a few times lol but I'm sure I'll be getting woken up more as the time goes on.

Alloyd~ I can't imagine what it must feel like with two, I bet they play patty cake to til dawn huh? lol it must be like a definite party in there. :headspin:

It sounds weird but Im glad Im not alone in this because I have such a hard time sleeping nowadays! Not so much from getting kicked because my baby has been pretty calm at night so far from what I can tell, but last night my uterus kept getting so hard that it was uncomfortable to roll over or move! And my hips hurt from sleeping on my sides so much and that keeps me up half the night trying to find a comfy postion.

I feel your frustration everyone and I hope it gets better for us all! We need our sleep before the little one arrives because then we really wont be getting any!!
