Has anybody ever had 2 big temp dips after ovulation? Chart included!

So I had a big temp drop at 4dpo which was a secondary estrogen surge and my temp went back up high the next day. Then today, 2 days after the first bbt temp, I had another big temp drop at 6dpo. I usually always get a estrogen surge around 3-4dpo but the only time I've ever had a temp dip at 5-6dpo was when I was last pregnant so of course I'm hopeful that I'm pregnant. With my pregnancy chart I did not have 2 dips though, I only had 1 dip and I tested bfp 2 days later.

Is it possible to have 2 estrogen surges by 6dpo or maybe the one I had today is an implantation dip and the first one was an estrogen dip?

I can see that this thread is a little old, but I came across your thread because I am experiencing the same temp dip at 4DPO, Except my dip went under the cover line. I wish I knew how to attach my chart so that you could see.

Anyway, I guess my question is, what was the outcome of your chart/ HPT? I'm very concerned, as I am having a lot of symptoms, but not sure what to attribute them to. Currently 4DPO.

Hey!!! Ok so now I'm officially confused. When I had my temp dip on 4 DPO (CD16) I figured that even though it was below the cover line it was fine and it would go back up. I read that the temp can dip 2-3 times after Ovulation due to hormonal changes. My temps went up but not significantly.

But then on CD 21 my temp sky rocketed and FF changed my ovulation date. All of my signs (EWCM and high open soft cervix) pointed to me ovulating on CD 16. Luckily we BD on CD 21 otherwise we would have missed it

So now I'm back to 3 DPO and my temps have been high these last few days. (98.1-98.3)


Let me know if your temps sky rocket, maybe you haven't officially ovulated yet...who knows!!

good news for me this morning they are back up to 36.6 where they where before.
I read it could be estrogen dip which happens around that time.
