I had an ultrasound about a week ago and they said there was what appeared to be a sac measuring at 2.2 mm and my levels we doubling like they were supposed to. Well three days ago I started bleeding and knew it was the end. I had my betas checked the morning of the day I started bleeding and they were doubling just fine. I went to the dr the next morning and he didn't seem too concerned about the bleeding just said we would continue to check my hcg levels. Well the next one hadn't even come close to doubling but did go up. Ok so last night I wasn't feeling the greatest and went to er. They did more blood work even though id already had blood work that morning and looked at my ultrasound report from the week before. They said that the ultrasound showed the sac in my endometrial canal or something like that and that the baby being that low is what is causing the bleeding. They said if the baby moves up then my hcg levels should go up and everything should be fine but if the baby moves down then my hcg levels will go down and I will pass the baby. Does this sound right to anyone? Be honest and blunt with me ladies please

I have not heard of this hun sorry... however it does kinda sound like a threatened miscarriage from what I have been through but honestly was never told baby was sitting low in the endometrial canal

Well I have not been bleeding for the last couple of hours but I'm cramping way worse than I was before. I just want it to be Monday morning already so I can get my bloods done so I can know what's going on

Hmmmmm I'm no early pregnancy expert but as far as I'm aware the endometrial canal is just docspeak for the uterine cavity so everything sounds like it's implanted in the right place, but I'm not sure about this being low down thing. I can only assume it means right down in the lower segment rather than at the side of the womb, but like I say I'm no expert.

If you've had bleeding and your hcg is not doubling every 48 hours then they'll treat you as a threatened miscarriage but as camishantel said it doesn't mean the pregnancy will definitely end in miscarriage. It's awful playing that waiting game to get bloods or a scan, I really do know how rotten that feels. Did they see a heartbeat on scan do you know, or was it too early?

Fingers crossed for you hun. Sorry I can't help more. :hugs:

Creep thank you for replying. It was way too early to see a heartbeat as it was only a few days past four weeks and not to mention my hcg levels were only in the 400s. My levels didn't double last time but they did go up. The bleeding is now slowing down and seems to be turning brownish. Ugh I really hate not knowing what's going on

Yeah I know it's really rubbish not knowing hun. Just try to hang in there til tomorrow as your bloods then will give a much clearer picture as to whats going on. I'm having bloods myself tomorrow so I'll think of you.

I am sending you both some sticky :dust: and :hugs: .. I know how you guys feel as I have had to play the waiting game so many times and have had 6 mc's but I am now 28 weeks and this was said to be a threatened mc because I had some bleeding at the begining of this pregnancy... I wound up on progesterone and antibiotics because I had a UTI so it is not always doom and gloom but I have had the good outcome and the bad and no there is nothing anyone can say to really make it any better but I am here if you have questions or need to talk and all I can offer is cyber :hugs: at this point

Thank you cami! The dr diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage but refused to give me any progesterone or anything saying it was too late because id already started bleeding. The bleeding keeps going back and forth between colors brown brownish orane bright/dark red and light pink so I am sooo confused. Just have to make it the rest of the night to get those bloods in the morning. It is only almost 3pm here so I've got awhile

yeah I am in missouri so we are in the same time zone...

Hi hun sorry to hear your going through this but i do have a good story for you :) i myself had bleeding at 5 weeks till 8 weeks sometime's heavy sometime's just brown discharge i had a scan at 5 weeks the found a sac but on HB as was too early but they said to me baby was quite low down like yours is but everything looked fine i went on to bleed more and had many scan's upto 8 weeks it turns out that coz baby implanted low and i had implant bleed that the bleed built up above cervix and thats what i was slowly losing. Baby progressed fine during this whole time the only prob i have now is that coz baby implanted low the placenta is very low and slightly covering cervix i had it checked again a week ago and its moving up so that great but baby is doing well and moving load's so pls don't panic even heavy red blood doesnt mean baby has been lost. Thinking of you hoping this helps you stay positive coz i thought it was all over but i was wrong :) xx XX

Well I went to er bc I was noticing an odor and felt like I have an infection. My betas went from 483 on Friday to 470 today at er. So I'm guessing this means its over for me. No need for my betas in the morning now so I will just be calling dr and seeing what the next step is.

hun I am sorry :hugs: I would still have betas done though to make sure they are still going down... maybe not tomorrow but probably sometime this week

Well about 30 mins ago I had a gush of blood that filled my pad so I ran to the bathroom to change it and as I was peeing noticed TONS of blood and when I wiped there was a clot about the size of a quarter so I'm assuming that was what was left of the baby. Will be contacting the dr in the morning unless the bleeding gets worse then I will have to go back yo er. Thanks for all the support ladies

It could have been...if you are filling a pad a hour you need to go back as that is too much bleeding :hugs:
