Has anyone experienced increased symptoms after finding a possible mmc?

At 5 weeks 6 day I had my Hcg checked which came back at 4054. Scan showed an empty gest sac measuring 5w2d.
I went back for another scan at 7 weeks.
Gest sac measured 5w4d and a yolk sac was present.
Im not expected to see a baby this time.
I've been waiting to miscarry Im 7w4d today.
But Im experiencing increased symptoms
I think I've had the most Ms today than I've ever had in a pregnancy. I have stretchy pulling feelings like growth. Smells are making me sick.

Is this possible to be going through increased symptoms before an actual miscarriage?
Or is there a little string of hope?

Yes, unfortunately it is possible. Your body still thinks you're pregnant and carries on as it would with a healthy pregnancy. I'm technically 10+4 today and have a mmc and baby stopped developing at 5 weeks. I've been waiting over 2 weeks now since I found out and my nausea has gotten much worse. Some things have decreased lately like sore boobs and I'm not as bloated (though if I remember correctly that happened anyway around this time with my first), but yes, much more nauseous and just generally feeling unwell, even though baby stopped growing 5 weeks ago now. It's a cruel trick of our bodies but also a sign they are doing what they are meant to be doing despite it all. Sorry you're going through this. It is always still possible the scan will show good news though as you are still early.

My symptoms increased with my 1sttri losses, then completely vanished right before I started bleeding. sorry you are dealing with this

Im going through the same at the moment, increased symptoms, hcg rising slowly, 8 weeks now and waiting to miscarry.The wait for the body to realise and "let go" is awful.I will be requesting a D&C because the thought of carrying on like this for weeks is unbearable.
