I keep seeing icandy and bugaboos are the most popular ones around at the moment but we have put a deposit down for the pilko pramette.

Has anyone got one? Are they reliable? Are you glad you got one?

Just wondering if i should scrap the pliko pramette idea and get an icandy. I really havent got a clue about prams having never had the slightest interest in such things before. It looked ok in the shop and had good reviews online but im having second thoughts now everyone is raving about these icandys!

Having said all of this, ive never really been a dedicated follower of fashion (apart from the shellsuit when i was 14). Maybe i should go with whatever i want instead of getting pulled along with the latest popular thing!

Hiya, yes I've got one! got mine 2 years ago when I was pregnant wit my son. I like mine. Like you, I have no interest in prams as long as they do the job they are meant to do. Mine enabled my son , as a newborn to lay flat and face me. When he got to around 6 months I jus switched it around and he had a good forward facing pushchair.it is stil, going strong and I'm not particularly careful with it! Fits in my boot and isn't too heavy to lift in and out. Not bad for 300 quid. I think an. Candy is a lot more ;)

I have a Pliko Pramette Switch for Noah, I am selling it actually but only because I now have a Phil and Teds as I need the option foe a double.
I loved it, best pram I've had, It faces outward and parent. It means the car seat can click onto the chassis straight from the car. it's sturdy but not to heavy!!
xx

ive had 2 pliko pramettes to me much better than bugaboo or icandy cos you cant fold them down with the seat unit attached which is juts too much of a faff for me
to me a pram needs to be function and easy to use not all these strange looking fashion prams no offence to those who own them

My sister and her sister in law both had the Pliko pramette and loved it,. The SIL had it for 2 babies :) I've tested prams for Mother & Baby Magazine and I had an iCandy Apple Jogger and Pear and honest I don't rate them at all.

I had one and loved it, but wanted a parent facing pram and bought a loola. The pliko pramette (apart from not being parent facing) was in my opinion better than the loola. It folded up well, was light, pushed easily, lots of growing space, comfy looking.

I had a pilko pramette with my son but after having an icandy for my daughter I would never go back but they're a great option if you don't want to pay icandy prices xx
