has anyone got/had that yuk taste in mouth?

Hi

Since about 6 weeks I've had this horrible taste in my mouth that nothing will shift - including listerine! lol.

It's there more or less all the time, even straight after brushing etc....it's like a bitter yukky taste. Others in the 1st tri said they are suffering too!

Just wondered if it goes anytime soon in the 2nd tri! am coming over in a week but couldn't wait to ask!

All the time, but I think it means we should be drinking more.
I keep trying to drink more water, but you can only tolerate so much!

I think I have it! Its not a horrible taste, more a feeling that I have bad breath!

Got the OH to check though (Lovely job for him!) and he said I was fine, so it must be just the taste in my mouth :/

I have a horrid taste but it seems to come at the same time as heartburn so maybe try antacid?

Yeah I had that too, its much better now though. The only thing that helped me was gargling with Dentyl PH mouthwash. It seems worse when I have had something dairy, or milky tea. I'm not sure why we get it, I guess it could be a sign telling us we need to drink more?

Yes, I've had that from about 6 weeks on, too. Mine is also like a bitterish taste. Drinking water makes the water taste bitter and yucky! I find it makes me not to want to have salty food much. I hiaven't had home made popcorn because of that taste - and popcorn is one of my favourite snacks! Only sweet foods seem to take the taste away for a while.

I had a metallic taste at around 14 weeks - its gone now but it does make you feel you have bad breath!!
