Im looking at baby style oyster 2, I quite like it, is it a good pram to fold up/down? Is it easy to manoeuvre? Is it lightweight? Would you reccomend it & why? Thanks :) x

ive the tandem version. It is very easy to fold (with the seat off, ive never folded it with it on). Getting the seat off can be a pain in the ass though. It can be easy to push but the front wheels seem to buckle at curbs which can be a disaster if there is a car coming. IT is very light xx

Thankyou :), what's it like when folded? Bulky or not? My boot isn't all that big x

its quite bulky. we have a big boot and it takes up half (with chasis and seat seperate) xx

I've got the oyster 2 and its rather easy to fold up and down, its really easy to manoeuvre but it is rather bulky when folded, even more so with the seat unit attached.

That said i would still recommend it because it is lovely to push although like a pp said the front wheels do sometimes buckle when going up curbs but only occasionally. HTH

I love it! Great for folding, lovely to push and easy to swivel in small spaces, looks nice, big basket, lightweight etc. etc. Only issue is there isn't much suspension so bumps on curbs and cobbles etc. Also, we live in a city and everywhere is flat so I can't account for hilly areas and I certainly wouldn't use it as an off-road pram as I don't think it would do brilliantly (though could be wrong).

 nope no it isnt :haha: we get stuck all the time.. and sand.. just dont even do it  I fell on my ass trying to get mine to move over sand.

i forgot to get a photo but this is the boot on a picasso. and the pram takes up exactly half of the space if you can get the seat unit to sit right behind the pram (ill get a pic for you today when i go out) and more if it has to sit to the side xx

Thanks for the pictures :). I don't think it looks all that bulky to be honest. I have a Ford Focus and an Astra so I think it should fit in perfectly fine :)

i think it helps i cleaned my boot  obviously wouldnt fit anything else in there but if your not going for a huge shop or to pick up quite a few things then it should be fine. Ill be taking a much much smaller pram for christmas shopping lol. I had another box I couldnt get into the boot that day. x

Ive got the tandem one and I love it, easy to push, spins on a penny, looks great, good size basket, only down side is going down a curb sometimes my wheels buckle, and once it's folded it can be quite bulky. I have a citreon c3 car and I have to take the seat off the pram and turn the pram folded on its side to fit into my boot. It takes up the whole boot. If we do any shopping I'm limited to 2-3 bags then my boot is crammed. Unless I stash bags in the kids footwell area 😬👍😊, ps this is with 1 seat unit and the car seat so I'm not sure what I'll do when I need to use both seats! X
