the hormonal coil fitted??

the reason i ask is because i've convienced my husband to try for another baby and i'm getting mine taken out after my holidays my question is when you got it taken out how long did you bleed for after and how long for???

I have the Mirena coil but havent had it removed yet. From what I can gather from reading on google the hormonal effect on the lining of the womb is usually reversed in a month and periods and fertility return to normal after that. x

Im having my coil out today as it started falling out yesterday. I was due AF this week anyways but have started bleeding today (usually hardly anything when AF) and got bad back period pains (which I dont normally have). Will let you know how it goes.
