Has anyone taken or taking Zyrtec for allergies?

My allergies are horrid, making my puke sessions double time from all the drainage.... Finally I broke down and started taking Zyrtec around 7/8 wks.... After a wk of amazing relief my mom went on a rampage of how Zyrtec hasn't been out long enough to trust the dr on this one..... Now I'm freaked out and highly annoyed .... So inquiry taking it and I'm freaking miserableeeeeee!!! Can I keep taking my Zyrtec?!?!

Always go by what your doctor says, but Zyrtec is one of the approved medications on the pamphlet I got from my doctor's office. I've taken it a few times on days when my allergies were really bad. It seems fine to me

Thanks! My dr told me to take the Zyrtec .... My mom is the one who told me don't trust that , it's a newer drug .... It's really not tho !!! She ticked me

Yeah Zyrtek should be fine as long as it's the one without the -D! The decongestant on those meds are no bueno for baby. But Zyrtek is on our approved list also.
