Has anyone tried a heartbeat app?

Today I was searching the App Store on my iPhone and found lots of apps where you can apparently hear your babies heart beat. I down loaded one and have tried it however am finding it hard to tell of what I am hearing is just my own.

Has anyone tried this? Any good results or do they not work?

I have one and it states you can only use it from third tri, I'm 32 weeks and I still can't find it on the app! Baby is moving about lovely, so I know exactly where he is and where to put the phone, but it's rubbish.
