Has anyone tried Maca (herb)

Hi everyone

I went to visit a friend this weekend who has 3 children. When TTC number 3 she had a few miscarriages at around 5 weeks over a 6 month period. She then started taking a herb called Maca which apparently helps improve fertility (for men and women) and got pregnant the next month and went full term. I've just ordered some but I wondered if anyone had tried it and what you think? Or if anyone knows of anything similar as I'm keen to get any tips right now! Thanks x

Hi Leeze

Me & DH have taken it for a few months. Its supposed to improve egg and sperm quality. Sadly we lost our bean that was concieved whilst we were taking it. mcs happen for lots of reasons but I think taking maca can't hurt, as it improves egg & sperm quality x

Zinc is also good for male and female reproductive health, we take that too x
