I was browsing the app store for baby name apps! and came across a heart beat listening app it was called tiny beats. I havent even used a doppler my other pregnancies and wsnt planning too this time but I was intrigued so downloaded it!

It took me a few minutes but I found a heart beat of 163 bpm (mine was 74) but it was alot higher than i thought!

I am 19.5 weeks and it was halfway between my belly button and ribs.Does this sounds right? I was expceting the baby to be smaller still  and not come up that far!

This is my 6th pregnancy so maybe baby is just swimming around in a mansion in there!

Is it really the babys heart beat I have picked up or have I made some sort of massive error!

I downloaded one for iphone yesterday called mybabybeat. Ive tried it once so far and couldnt find any heartbeats but it says the app works best from 30 weeks. Might try your app see how i get on haha x

I have tiny beats and also have detected baby it's obv a much higher heart rate so you know it's baby's heart beat. Usually between 130&170 ish! I don't always find it and I'm only coming 26 weeks but I have a few times be much better further on tho I think.

I don't know if I would trust the apps... I got a doppler online (Sonoline B) for $50 and it has saved my sanity this entire pregnancy!!!!

I got a cheap doppler ($25) on amazon and it helped a lot when I needed reassurance.

I also got a cheap doppler online (Amazon) which I listen to most days.

Cell phones have radiations, it is not the best idea to place a cell on the stomach especially if pregnant

I believe those apps have you change the mode of your phone to airplane mode while using the app
