Has my pcos come back??

Hey ladies, help!!!

I have just posted this in ttc too.

I was diagnosed with pcos when i was around 18. I went on the bcp, stayed on that for around 8 yrs and came off last July as we wanted to ttc. I went for a scan and she said both ovaries looked perfect and in January 09 we got our bfp.
Sadly, that ended in mc at 13 wks. At my check up scan i was told one of my ovaries looked a bit poly but was told it was nothing to worry about. I never really researched it as i never thought i wanted children, so i know nothing! Im too scared to google it now in case i read horror stories. Ive got my first af now, 8 weeks after erpc, and ive been bleeding for almost 3 weeks. I thought you only had an af if you ovulated? Obviously im a bit of a naive uneducated ttc-er!!!
Should i be worried that the pcos has come back? Does it come and go? Im 27and can really hear the clock ticking.

Any advice or help will be really greatly appreciated!!!

I think if you have been diagnosed with PCOS you are never 'cured' from it but it can be kept at bay. There are varying degrees of PCOS - Many people have it and don't know they have it as they ovulate as normal but for most people it does have an impact on ovlulation (you either ovulate rarely or not at all.)

It is possible to bleed without having ovulated so I'm not sure in your case but I think your body is probably just getting back to normal. I also think the fact that you have conceived before is a good sign. Try not to worry - I'm sure your cycle will return to normal soon - even if it doesn't there's lots of treatments available for people with PCOS.

I didnt know i had pcos until I went for an ultrasound in July.. I had been on BC since i was 15 and came off last july! I have had no luck wot so ever with getting pregnant so far and i didnt even know i had pcos until they ran test!!

The only thing i have is irregular periods being around every 45 to 50 days..
I am also 27 and i also feel i left TTC to late, however like the lady above said, there is treatments to help with pcos and i dont think personally that 27 that you clock is ticking i understand your fustracted as we all are but you have gotten BFP in the past and i am sure once your body has recovered your be able to get pregnant again.. I wish you luck huni..
I have a hsg scan booked in for october as gyno will not give me any medication without this scan, i feel like i am in limbo waiting around, i dont even think i ovulate and feel like im getting no where fast..
