Are any of you other ladies going to any? I've read online that they can throw you into labor, that you can trip and fall (isn't that a risk anywhere?) and stuff like that. I'm more worried about peeing my pants to be honest.

I would only question it due to the darkness/risk of falling etc.

The whole being made jump thing doesn't bother me. I've been to see loadsa horrors and jumped out of my skin and hasn't seemed to do any harm lol!

I'm not too worried about falling. If I was I wouldn't get out of bed ever. I trip and fall constantly. I can just have someone walk in front of me and another behind me haha.

I think it depends on how far you are and what if any complications you have.

With having just over 2 wks before my C, i know im not going! I dont need to be bumped around. It also hurts to walk after so long anyways and if i got jolted from something im sure it'd hurt me more.

I also just dont like scary things, i get nightmares and terrors easily :/

Glad ill be in the hospital for halloween! Lol!

HAHA I thought you meant your actual house being haunted and wondered why the heck I went over due lol

I have a little story about that! My husband and I do the haunted corn maze every year and it really does scare the pee out of at least me ( husband only screams a couple times lol). Well last year we went there was a woman there who looked to be about 8-9 months pregnant doing the maze. At one point a man with a fake chain saw came out at us and while my husband and I stood there and screamed, this poor pregnant woman got literally trampled on by a group of teenage girls who were also behind us. She ended up have to be escorted out because of what happened and last I saw an ambulance was putting her in the back of it and her looking like she was crying. Not sure what was more scary, the maze or her condition. :(

Yeah thats what I was thinking. The scares would be fine but tripping/darkness/others bumping into you might be a problem :S

I love haunted houses and I will be about 38 weeks at Halloween, but if I can find a good one, I will definitely be going! I did have to think twice about it though because I saw an episode of 16 and Pregnant and the girl went to a haunted house and on her way back home from it she went into labor. So who knows, it could put you into labor.

Last weekend I went to the wax museum in San Francisco and there is a scary portion of it that has a sign that says it is not recommended for expectant mothers so I guess there is some truth to fright throwing you into labor.

at this point I would go just to scare myself into labor  but never really into them & don't think hubby would allow it bc I trip over myself not pregnant... never mind now & in the dark! :haha:

It depends on how scared you are hahah
I'd worry about falling. And I'm scared all the time. So I'd probibly go into labor. And I'd hate for her to be born out of fear lol

I'd be worried about other people jumping back and bumping into you, etc. That sort of thing is to be expected and can't really be prevented if it's popular/crowded...especially in the dark. I doubt it'd be worth the risk, unless you can go in the AM or something when nobody's there lol
