Ladies,
I'm worrying about every little cramp and constantly checking if I'm bleeding and wondering if an early scan at like 7/8 weeks will make me feel better.
Have any of you had this and if you live in England did you get this on the NHS or did you pay private?

Yes I had one at 6w and another at 8w. Made me feel loads better, I was constantly checking for blood too.
I live in France though, so I don't know if you'd get early scans on the NHS.
However, if you can afford it and you think it will put your mind at rest , I'd say go for a private.
Those first 12w are so long. Good luck.

With my son i had an early dating scan at 8 weeks and with my MC i had them as i was bleeding (on NHS) xx

I had a scan at 7 weeks last time because I was bleeding but doubt the NHS will do one this time just to reassure me. I've been looking at private ones and they start at about £90 so worth it for piece of mind.

I personally didn't want an early scan this time. As I had lots of scans with my MC, and I was happier just to hope it was all going OK rather than scan and worry about what the scan dated me at etc. etc.

I did get a doppler, and that worked from 10+3 so that helped me a lot.

But as much as I've loved all 3 of my scans with this pregnancy (12w NHS, 16w private gender scan and 20w NHS) I've been sick with nerves for a week in the lead up to each one.
