Well, as of today, I have officially been diagnosed with a luteal phase defect and referred to an infertility specialist. I am anxious and nervous, but glad to finally know what the problem is and ready to take steps to get it fixed. And, now I actually have a medical reason to spout off to those nasty people that say "if you'd just stop trying so hard....blah blah blah" Now I can say, "Oh I didn't know that not trying so hard would fix the hormonal imbalance in my body and make my luteal phase defect disappear?" I am so waiting for my first chance to say that just to see the look on the other person's face.

It's good news that you know what the problem is. At least now you can take positive steps to fix it and hopefully you'll have your LO before you know it!

Good luck :hugs:

Your so so so lucky no one in the UK will class a lpd as an actual issue

I'm so pleased ur getting looked after so well and there doing something about it. XXX
