Hello,
I have been a member for about a month or so but only reading and not posting. Well here goes abit about me...
I was dx with PCOS at the age of 24, I am 36 now. I started at the age of 14 with problems so living with PCOS has come natural to me. I have one DS who will be 15 in july. About 11 yrs ago I met my DH at which time we didn't want children. After a yr of being together we decided to try. So for 10 yrs we did nothing to prevent a pregnacy however we didn't do anything special to try either ,picked the o'natural way..one of those "it will just happen". We decided 2 yrs ago to start trying aggressivly....We got engaged and picked the wedding date thinking with my fertitly problems it would take about 2 yrs. Well Jan of 2009 we conceived however the result was a MC. Well over a year now and nothing...my age, PCOS, my weight...I am starting to feel defeated. I came here and just reading the posts I learned so much more than I already knew and seeing the spirit of alot of you lovely ladies makes each day abit more barable.
Anyhow I hope 10 yrs of trying has put me in the right spot

I have been taking metformin for 3 yrs now and it helps keep my cycles any where from 30 to 34 days. I did 3 rounds of clomid and I did O. Currently I am defeated. My heart breaks each month and my poor DH is so supportive even when I know it kills him as well. We have decided since I need to do some traveling for work, that we would take a break. I need to lose some weight so I am going to work on that. I have seen a fertility doctor and he thinks I need the break from feeling like a failure. My positive spirit has seem to disappeared so I am looking for it.
