I know people will usually go to the hospital or contact a midwife but I'm currently in a different city to where I live at the minute.

During the night, I turned over and heard a popping sound, at first I though 'oh no, my waters' but I felt around my sheet and it felt dry. I was still half asleep so I blamed my pelvis.

When I woke up this morning, I felt the urge to wee, so I went to the toilet and it came out easily even stopped mid-flow [been testing everytime to see if I can stop myself so I knew the difference], but I felt my bump deflated afterwards.

My mum said my it looks as if my waters have gone as did someone else on FB when I uploaded my progression picture. Same as the one in bump thread, just wanted your views.

I have been getting cramps but it ends up being bowel movements. No wetness thought.

I've been told when your waters break it kind of 'gushes'. Did it feel like a gush? my friends tell me that you'll defiantly know the difference between peeing and waters.

I would have thought you'd have had to lose a real large amount of fluid to see a difference in your bump. So much that you'd know for sure. But I'm only guessing really. Sorry I can't be more help :hugs:

If you could stop mid flow then I would say no.

Mine didn't gush though. It was a trickle, like I was weeing myself but I couldn't stop it coming out.

Thank you! It was sort of brain washing me and needed reassurance.

There wasn't a gush, just an ordinary amount of wee came out of me at normal speed (didn't know how else to say that).

Maybe LO has just changed positions and come to the front which is why I've turned all bump.

You could always go and get checked
goodluck

sounds like baby has moved and dropped a bit hun if it was your waters you would be leakng all the time

I lost loads of water before my bump looked any different babe, I wouldnt worry too much it may just be babys position, you would have been wet if they'd gone x

When my waters went, it was slow. I would occasionally soak a pad within an hour. When baby moved, it would be worse. Plus, my contractions started within 10 mintues of it happening. I wasn't sure at first, but by the second trickle I knew. :)

when my waters broke with DS it was more like just having a wee. the only thing that made me think it was my waters was the fact it was a looooonnnnnngggggg wee that didn't fully stop when I tried to stop weeing. It eventually stopped and I went back to bed but as I got back in a little trickled out so I got back up, walked around the bed to head back to the toilet and it was trickleing down my thigh so I woke DH as I knew at that point it was my waters. It remained slow trickles all day then a final gush around 2 hours before he arrived.
