Hi guys, I know I am lucky in that my area has a really good EPU unit and because of my history I have been offered weekly or fourtnightly scans. I have had fortnightly ones since 6 weeks. I rang this morning to cancel my appointment for thursday as I have my hospital booking appointment on monday and do not see the point of having 2 scans so close together when someone else might really need that appointment. But when I phoned the sonographer says she wants to see me thursday anyway, I agreed to go but when I hung up I started worrying. Does she want me in coz she has seen something that worries her? I have not had any bad pregnancy symptoms but I have not had a bad bleed again just a little spotting which for me is very normal. What do you think? Is she just being causious or shoudl I be worried?

I understand that you may be worried but it's probably nothing negative. One sure fire way of knowing is to ring back and ask. I would ring and say "I know I may sound like i'm being paranoid but is there a particular reason that you are wanting to see me anyway?" Then see what she says! You might just get yourself too worked up otherwise flower - I know I would x x x x

I'm with Beadette on this one - give her a bell to ease your mind....

I don't know what to say, but I am sure if there had been a problem before she would have had to tell you. I am just finding out how worrying this PAL is myself, and I really feel for you. :hugs:

i think they are probably just wanting to see you as it was booked, i would try not worry but to ease your mind just phone, x

Thanks guys she had gone home by the time I finished work will try and rimg tomorrow

Good luck Pippa! I'm sure there's nothing to worry about!

UPDATE: Tried to phone the next day but she was off sick had my appointment today and she said it was just to put my mind at ease before I moved into the main system. Baby was wriggly and healthy
