to the point where i'm not getting much sleep due to the heartburn/vomiting during the night. my current ob is great, but they keep cancelling my appointments due to overbooking. i've had it with them at this point.....

is there something that i can take OTC to help with this? or is there anything i can ask for when i finally get in to see a doctor? i worry that i'm not taking in enough fluids. the first time i told her i was having lots of nausea, she suggested taking B6. that's not working.....:dohh:

advice, please?

sounds like u need them tablets that u get on perscription :? some say wrist bands wrk grt other than that ive no idea sorry

If you can't see your OB, make an appointment with your GP or go to an urgent care clinic. This kind of MS is dangerous to you and baby. Ask to be put on Zofran for nausea! Hope you feel better soon!

I know how u feel... I was on maxolin for a few weeks.. some days it helped some days it didn't. I used anti sickness bands, they didn't help for me, but its worth a try. I went off my prenatals and that made a substantial difference.. and I just have a daily berrocca for the folio acid boost and try to eat healthy.

My Ob just kepd saying it would pass, I was throwing up 6 times a day and felt like I was dieing. But I'm feeling better this week. They say once your placenta is big enough to take over u feel better.

Hang in there.. try and get an appointment and talk to ur pharmacist.
qhope u feel better soon xo

Oh honey, I know how you feel. My heart breaks for you, it truly is the worst time of my life (and I've had some tough times!).

I still have it bad, very bad, I feel like I'm dying at times but this is what I have done that I find helps -

- medication!! Get to your doctor asap! I'm on cyclizine and it really does help.
- sea bands. When I'm having a 'good' day they take the edge off, but they won't do anything for the bad days. I wear them all the time anyway, just in case.
- eat often. No matter what just eat eat eat! Constantly eat! It doesn't matter what it is just keep your stomach full. Even when you throw it all up, eat again soon after.
- keep drinking. Some days I can only drink fizzy drinks, others only tea, never water, but just keep hydrated no matter what.
- don't take pre-natal supplements, they made it worse for me.

Ok well, that's all obvious I suppose and no doubt you've heard it all before but that's all I can offer. There's not a lot you can take OTC but do please get yourself to the doc, if they cancel again scream and shout!! You're pregnant and very very sick for goodness sake, you're an emergency case!

God, I hope we all feel better soon, it's so cruel.
Xx
