My son is a very active, loud little boy. He is very strong willed and there is hardly ever a calm moment. I knew that he had been having some aggression and acting out at the sitters however this week it became clear just how bad it is. He targets one little girl there for the most part, but does act out towards the other kids occasionally. She is 18 months... about 7 months younger than him. He hits her, kicks her, pulls her hair, picks her up and slams her to the floor. He bites her and she is terrified of him. I am so upset to know my little guy is so much trouble, but despite our consistency with time outs and correcting him immediately he is still doing this and has been for several months. Yesterday I was told (by my best friend who is the sitter) that we will probably have to find him a new sitter. I am devastated and have no idea what to do next. Please help!!

Aw...can you find someone who will babysit who doesn't also watch other children? We tried time-outs but don't really like them. Have you ever been to ahaparenting.com? Also, not sure if this is age appropriate since your little one is only two, but we just bought a book called "The Whole-Brain Child." A friend recommended it to me. I haven't started reading it yet, but she really likes it.

I think that if the sitter can't keep him away from the other kid, then finding a new sitter is the best option.
