HBAC - consultant appt tomorrow, any advice?

I had an EMCS due to fetal distress with my son. I had been induced (at 42 weeks by their EDD, 41 by mine), had all stages of induction but was taken for EMCS after meconium in waters, increased fetal heartrate and failure of their fetal blood test machine. I got to push for 30 mins but was on back with syntocinon drip in and an epidural so destined for failure tbh.

Anyway I have spoken to my MW about HBAC - she's totally happy for us to do it but I have consultant appt tomorrow. I was consultant led last time due to recurrent m/c and severe endo, this time for these reasons and the previous section.

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this or any experience?

As expected the consultant was totally focused on the risk of uterine rupture and wanted me to give birth in hospital. Offered the midwife led unit rather than Obstetric but after my experience last time I really don't feel comfortable giving birth in hospital.
I'll see what my m/w says, she's pro hb and wasn't fazed by HBAC request.
Hopefully your consultant will be more positive!
