HCG 2958 but nothing at all showing up in u/s

im so confused. i had a m/c in january and found out that I have polysistic ovarian syndrome. just found out im pregnant again about 2 weeks ago. ive had a few hcg checks and so far its up to 2958 according to my doc. Had an u/s yesterday and they said they dont see anything. no gest sac, no fluid nothing. How could this be?? ive been spotting but im sure that becuz of the poly syndrome and ive been taking progestrone gel injections, which has stopped the spotting. Why cant they see anything?

Hiya,
I know it's not quite the same, but I had a scan when I was 8 weeks pg that just showed a sac. My hcg level at this point was well over 100000. I went back 5 days later and there was baby and heartbeat. I have a retroverted (tilted) uterus that makes ultrasounds more tricky.
You're still early, are they scanning you again? I would imagine it was just too early to see anything.

Did they do an internal us???? I got my first scan when my numbers were >6000 and even then only an internal.

i forgot i was told by another doc a while ago my uterus is tilted too.. maybe thats why. they did a vaginal u/s but I swear he wasnt far enuf in. Ive had them before and it was VERY uncomfortable. this one was a breeze.. i barely felt anything really. I have another scan on monday, but if they dont have any answers for me Im going to go to a specialist for high rish pregnancy... ur guys have been sooo helpful!!!
