hey guys! just wondering -- do they use different units of measurement for hcg and progesterone in the United States than they use in the UK? I got my #'s from my doc, but didn't record the units, and have a feeling that things are not done quite the same overseas in terms of how they measure these. makes it hard to read some of the threads that deal with these levels. any ideas...?

I am not sure if there is a difference in the way they measure overseas. Every time i needed help these ladies have been great and looking up hcg by dpo it seems there numbers are the same range ar ours. I fnund this website while back and helped greatly understand the ranges of healthy pgs. betabace.info

I hope i helped a little!

Not sure about hcg levels, but I do know that UK and the US measure progestrone differently.

jennifer -- that's what I thought. I was wondering why mine seemed low compared to others, then I realized that they were all from the UK and must measure it differently...

yes, while we think 10 and up is good, I believe theirs is around 20 or 30 and up :)
