HCG level results in

But anywho just got my hcg results back its at 615. They say I'm 4-5 weeks. From my last menstrual I'm 5 weeks 5 days today. But I believe Im a week behind that, because nothing was found on ultrasound. They say still normal not to see? Headed to first Maternal Fetal Specialist today at 1:30 pm. More blood will be drawn.

does my hcg sound right? What were yours?

Mine were 1406 at what should have been 5 weeks. But was pushed back by 4 days at my scan so would have been 4 and a half weeks. Our local epu won't scan if levels are under 1000 as they say chances of seeing anything with numbers under that are low. I wouldn't worry though, just probably need a little longer for yours to climb if your earlier than you thought shouldn't take too long.

I was thinking around Dec 27, CD 16, I I'd, but if that's the case then I'm measuring behind and there could be a problem.....not that I'm a doc. But I would be 5 weeks, 5 days today, they would have seen a sac. They couldn't make it out Tuesday.. Based on my hcg I'm 4-5. They kept me at 9/19 based on lmp of Dec 13. Based on my calculations according to my hcg of 615 and the link below I'm 4 weeks 5 days due 9/26. I'm sure my DD will be adjusted. My calculations are pointing at ovulation on CD22.

I'm only 615 hcg I can't be 5 weeks 5 days unless something is wrong! They did a scan because I originally went in for med management....I suppose they just wanted to verify. Thanks for comment back, I pray all is well.

At 3 weeks 4 days I was 18miu 4 weeks i was 60miu and bang on 5 weeks I was 1434miu, your numbers sound great too me for 4-5 weeks xx

Sounds to me you 4 weeks 5 days which would be about right 600+ hcg then in another 48 hours double or more 1200+ which you would be bang on 5 weeks sounds about right to me hun xx

So I must have ovulated late.....

ha, ha that changes things for the Chinese prediction to a boy, I secretly do want a girl. Dh wants a boy. Either will be perfect just want a healthy baby.

Awww bless ya lol I'm not 100% sure but with your hcg reading I'd say I was around 600plus around 4 weeks and half but I know everyone is different, lol...

Could be late ovulation or late implantation xx

My doc told me that you can't see anything with numbers under 1000. I went for a scan when my number would've been very close to 1000 and she saw a TINY black spec and said this COULD be the start of the sac. You could have O'd late or implanted late. I only got my betas early on but here they are:

11 dpo / 3+4: 17
13 dpo / 3+6: 63
17 dpo / 4+3: 557

As you can see the numbers vary A LOT! The most important is that it doubles.

honestly guys I'm still half way under the water. I will be reassured once 2nd blood test are done and I'm doubled. I have a 32 average cycle, ovulating on CD22 is pretty late, right???

I have 35 day cycle and normally ovulate cycle day 24 or 25 but with this little bean I took soy isoflavones for 3 months which bought my ovulation and cycle
Lengths forward..
1st month ovulated CD 23 2nd CD 20 3rd CD 17 xx

I 'am pissed, hurt and shocked right now! So I went to the high risk doctor. I was referred there for medication management because I'm type 2 diabetic and my sugars have been high. I haven't been able to take my medication because its giving nausea. First they gave me a ultrasound. The Tec said all she seen was the gestational sac. But it was normal with how far along I am - around 5 weeks, she says based on my LMP. She said no sign of pregnancy in tubes and the sac is in the right spot. Okay, so the doctor then comes in and he's like " there's nothing I can do for you at this point because I'm not even sure if your pregnant, all we see is a sac, and if you are pregnant I'm not sure it will be successful". I'm like " Well if I'm around 5 weeks is there anything else you should see on the ultrasound, should I be worried". He says "sometimes yes, sometimes not, its really early and I can't really say if you should be worried, I can't say everything is fine at this point". So I'm like "okay so in the mean time what am I suppose to do about my high blood sugars, I've changes my diet, I'm walking twice daily, only drinking water, I can't take the meds anymore its making me sick". He's repeatedly says " I dont know what to tell you, I'm not medicating you when I don't even know if your pregnant, you need to speak with your primary and have them get your sugars under control, they should have already been under control before you even got pregnant, I'll see you in two weeks". He kept saying " I dont even know of your pregnant", straight faced, no compassion, kept cutting me off too. I walked out without even scheduling a follow up. I cried and then when I got home I have beige-like spotting in my under ware. I haven't had any spotting before this. When I whipped, nothing though. I'm so upset right now and confused. I drive to my obgyn and told them what happened and that I never want to see him again. My doc is in surgery today so there going to follow-up tomorrow. The nurse said this shouldn't have happened the way it did. She said pregnancy IS determined by actually seeing the fetus, etc, but in regardless he shouldn't have insinuated I wasn't pregnant, or if it wouldn't be successful. She also said my sugars need to be controlled. He even said so too, but he leaves me with nothing! I can't believe this. I set an appointment with a primary I seen back in June who said to immediately stop taking the diabetes medication (metformin) and call him if I ever got pregnant. Apparently taking metformin while pregnant is used by some doctors and not by others.....Also Im wondering now that he may redirect me back to my obgyn. next ultrasound is next Tuesday. Hcg"615" as of this pass Tuesday. Last period 12/13/14. I hate that I'm going through all this at the beginning and starting to get really afraid

Awww bless you hun, he sounds like a proper tool (prick) if your around 4 weeks all you will probs see is just a sac as its still super early, how inconsiderate of him to say things like "I don't even
Know if your pregnant" and assuming things to without evidence, I'd defaintly get a 2nd opinion hun, did you have US vaginal? If so that can cause a little spotting, wishing you all the best hun xx

Also when hcg is under 1000 you can't really see much on US so I bet in a weeks time they will see your little bean xx

My numbers are in my sig. And according to that chart, I should be between 6.5 to 7.5 weeks pregnant. Which I'm not. I'm barely hitting 6. HCG don't mean much on their own. It just matters if they are doubling. I emailed my doctor when my 4w hcg came back at over 1k. Her response was "That is normal- there is a wide range." Every woman, every pregnancy is different.

As for not seeing anything, this early on a few days can be the different between a sac and no sac, a yolk sac and nothing, a fetal pole and... you get the point. Don't stress.

Oh my goodness! I just read your update! What a ****!!! Technically, I think viability is associated with heartbeat but pregnancy is associated with hcg levels. I cannot believe his bedside manner. Personally (or maybe because I'm a raging b) I would call and report him for what he said. That's insane. I'm so sorry you went through that! Hugs hugs hugs

I cried as soon as I walked out of there! I can't believe the nerves, and what I dont understand is why he would even place my pregnancy in catogory - automatically. Super anxious about getting my levels done next Tuesday and the ultrasound.

Wow what an ass!!! I wouldn't go back either! You need a doc that is supportive and won't break you down.

You said that with the last u/s they saw nothing and now they saw a gestational sac so things are progressing! Which is great!!

At my 4+5 u/s there was nothing. Only a tiny black spot which she said might be the start of the gs. It sounds to me like you are perfectly on track.

Good luck with your sugars. Regarding meds my doc told me that we need to assess things when I am pregnant and then decide if the risk of the meds is warranted. I don't have diabetes though so have no clue what risks are associated with your meds. I know it's super crap to be taking meds but sometimes there is no other way.
