HCG level

I am.new on here i just need some advice i have been waiting to be pregnany for at least 7 yrars with no luck and was told that i would more than likely habe to do invitro so when i started to spot brown looking old and small amounts of blood i made a doc appointment cause i came on nov 3 so the doc says let just do a urine preg test just to be sure its not kust your home sure enough it was faintly positive so we confirmed with an hcg blood level on tues the 20th my number was 88 we rechecked today again tay and it is only 148 i dont even know how far i am does this number mean i am having a miscarriage or having an ectopic pregnancy ...im so nervous cause i have been waiting for my pumpkin pooh for so long has this happened to anyone on here who had a normal healthy pregnancy and delivered

Hey. Didn't wanna read and run. Hope everything worked out. Hcg should double every 48-72 hours- but there are always exceptions to the rules xxx
