hcg levels rising but negative hpt

I had went to the local er week before last for bleeding. Found out a week earlier I was pregnant. They drew blood work to check my levels. I was told to.return that Monday for more blood work to check them again (which was last Monday) I was told my levels at that point were at 7 and I was to get them check.today to make sure my levels were at 0. I seen Dr today as well and they got the blood work back after I left I got a phone call that my levels were higher then over a week ago when I went to the er. I took 3 pregnancy test but they were all negative. I go back for more blood work on Wednesday. What could this mean?

This is or was my second miscarriage this year or so I thaught.

That first count is very low. What was your second count, and after how many days was it done from the first one? The possibility is there that maybe a little bit of placenta/tissue has clung to thewalls of your uterus, drawing blood to it and causing small amounts of hcg to be produced. It will either come off by itself, as mine did, or it will need to be removed.
