HCG Levels...

I had my bloods taken at 5weeks 2 days and it came back as 12504, 2 days later I went back and it came out at 18491.

This means that it only increased by 47.5%, after having 2 MMC I'm scared that it is happening again.

Can anyone give me some reassurance...???

After levels of about 8000 it slows right down and eventually gets to the point where it only doubles once a week .

Try not to worry, those levels look great. xxx

i had mine done and they were 2500 and then the next week the were only in the 4000 so i was worried too. but they gave me an ultrasound and my baby had a heart beat so just call your doctor and discuss what would be best for you. good luck

It's going up!!! And it didn't just go up by a bit, that's a significant growth. It doesn't have to double exactly every 2-3 days and it does slow down at this point. You could ask for an u/s perhaps within just a couple of days or a week, since you might very well be able to see the heartbeat (on average from 6 weeks 3 days or so..) It could put your mind to ease and once you see the heartbeat, hcg levels don't matter much anymore. Good luck to you!!!!

Thanks ladies, I have my scan booked in for the 28th July..... 8 more sleeps now to try and stay calm for those 8 days.. haha
