Sorry I should just update my old post but this is easier!!
Hunter has arrived! I was very lucky to have a very positive induction with an epidural, everything went super smooth with no problems.
We arrived at the Birthplace at 7am for scheduled induction, however it had gotten busy so they warned us we may have to wait for a while. Around noon they were just about to get me going when another patient showed up so they had to put us on wait again. We walked around, got lunch, and took a nap. At 4:30 pm they came in and got us going! I was dialated to 3cm already so they put me right on a low dose of pitocin, contractions started but were very bearable. Had my waters broke around 7pm and they continued to slowly up my pitocin, things started really moving after that and had an epi around 8pm. After the epi it was all smooth sailing, napped a bit, and relaxed. Continued to progress steadily until about 11:30pm I felt pressure in my bottom, they checked me and I was 10cm and ready!! They waited about 20 minutes to let him drop down a bit more on his own. Then in came my doctor and it was time to push! 20 minutes of pushing and Hunter Blake Eastman arrived! 6lbs 12ounces and 20 inches long. No tears or anything!
We are so in love with our little man, he looks so much like his daddy! The first pictures is right after he was born and the 2nd is about 5 hours old.
