He just took his first bottle!!

As the title says really! I tried the other night, but Oliver just wasn't having it. He must have known that mummy was trying to con him, when her boobies were right there! So this morning I expressed 6 ounces and daddy just fed him. He gobbled the lot up, then fell straight to sleep!
It brought a tear to my eye that he was so happy and daddy did it! Lets hope that we can keep up with it. I'll try it once a day, then when everyone is used to it, he can do a night time feed. It will also be so handy for when we go out.
So chuffed!!!

Oooh how exciting!

I get that feeling from Jasper when I'm giving him a pacifier, that he thinks i'm conning him... everyone else can give it to him except for me, he doesn't want any cheap immitations from me when I have perfectly good boobies to play with... he's such a man...

My mum gave Jasper a bottle of expressed milk the other night when me and my hubby went out for dinner, which was lovely. She said he was crying and crying and crying and she dripped milk into his open crying mouth and he stopped suddenly in shock and looked around in disbelief, she said it was like he thought I was there and he was trying to work out where I was and then he took the bottle without hesitation and fell asleep.
