My DF has it in his head that when he put a ring on my finger he was asking to be engaged to me, not to be married. He thinks you ask to be engaged first and then he has to ask to marry me! I have tried explaining it to him SO many times!!

I'd be lucky, I had to drag him to the shops to buy the one I've got. He also thought that all men wore engagement rings too, I'm not sure where he got that idea from but I didn't mind that he wanted one actually thought it was quite sweet.
