Headaches and hearing loss after c-section

I had a c-section Saturday with epidural and yesterday, started developing a headache and a buzzing in my right ear / hearing loss. Mentioned it to midwife, saying I'd read this can be a side affect of epidural and she said headaches would usually be horrendous to the point where you can't lift your head if so. She instead suggested it might be side affect of antibiotics etc.

But I'm not convinced, seen quite a few instances online of this happening and people need a blood patch. Anyone had the same / heard anything similar?

I'd seek second advice and just make sure its not a cause form the epidural, what one person considers a horrendous headache may not be what another does.

I would Deffo get a second opinion!

I didn't have the problems you have but I had a severe complications after my section that had been passed off my 2 community midwives not paying any notice and told me to stop being a wimp. I ended up in hospital in critical condition so make sure you get a doctors opinion Hun!
