Headaches....

Hey everyone.

I have been getting a lot of headaches, last week at my apt my bp was high (130/100) but came down. The doc is going to monitor since I had Pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy. I have had a headache every day for almost 1 week now... I keep checking my bp and it's totally fine...

Any suggetions on how to get rid of this headache? I am taking some tylenol but I hate having to take it every day....

And any ideas on what might be causing my headaches? I've tried everything...I'm very hydrated, eating something every 2 hrs...

Hi ,I'm the ame., they're never ending, only thing I find helps is to take paracetamol with a drink with some caffeine in it, it's the only time I have caffeine, just an instant coffee but it really helps more than just the paracetamol on their own, hope yours get better soon

thanks star, I don't drink a lot of caffeine either.. will have to try, maybe having my tea again will help... I'll try anything at this point..

I had an all day masive headache yesterday and today its still there just not as intense!! I tried medicine but didnt help. I tried taking my contacts out and laying down away from the light with my eyes closed still nothing helped! I think its the lovely hormones !! Is yours towards one side or all over?

Ive had awful headaches that dont respond well to paracetamol. I am finding 4head sticks useful x

I know what you mean...The Tylenol works sometimes. .. for me the pain is all in my forehead....and it just stays there....

I'm having awful headaches, almost daily I tend to get them when the weather is so clammy and stuffy so I'm not sure if it's that or the hormones!! Paracetamol and rest helps as does hot steamy baths or showers. Hoping they pass soon

So I haven't been drinking any caffeine.. so star I tried having a tea this morning... and it's the first day in almost 2 weeks that I don't have a headache!!!! I hope this is my fix and not just a fluke!!!

My dr. told me to call if I had headaches that didn't stop with Tylenol. I had high blood pressure but it came down. No pre-e, though.

Ooh I hope so too! It's definitely the only thing that works for me, I gave it up over a year ago and the headaches were horrendous when giving up, I dont obviously over 'do' it now with the caffeine, just when have a headache with the paracetamol but it saves me!

Thanks Carolin.. me too I had pre-e with my first but not my second... I was at the doc a couple of weeks ago told him about the headaches... He checked my Bp and it was high.... so they are watching me... If Monday they are still around I am going to call again ... I have been checking my Bp at home and it's been good so far!!! Fingers crossed!!!
