So for this past week, I've been getting headaches. Now, I'm still getting over being sick with a cold from last week, so I'm pretty sure it's just that, but it still makes me nervous that I have preeclampsia. I don't have any swelling or blurry vision, but just the headaches are making me nervous. My BP at my last appointment right before Christmas was 110/78 and I have another appointment on Tuesday (my last monthly appointment! It's going down to every two weeks from here on out), so I'll mention it there, but I just wanted some reassurance. It probably not preeclampsia, right?

I've had headaches with both now, I think it's the hormones. Even had gestational hypertension with DD and it never turned into Pre-E. Definitely mention it though, but it's usually just another annoying pregnancy side effect.

Hope you feel better! :hugs:

Thanks! I'm sure it's just perfectly normal and related to hormones, but sometimes its hard not to go to worst-case scenario. Lol your advice made me relax though :D

I was told headaches at this stage are really common. I'm lucky to get through a whole day without one. My MW said a lot of them will be down to tiredness from work, school runs and day to day life.

I think it's unlikely to be pre E and chances are it'll be down to hormones or just one of those annoying ''pregnancy things''.

Yea iv had a few recently and looked into it and it seemed common xxx

I had preeclampsia with dd2, I never really had headaches as a symptom tho, this time I've had headaches and because of my history they're vigilant with checking blood pressure, urine and bloods and so far they have all been normal. I have had anemia this time tho and that is probably contributing to the headaches, since I have increased my iron supplements the headaches have all but disappeared!

Thanks ladies!

I'll bring these things up to my doctor on Tuesday. You guys have really made me feel better :D

I had headaches nearly everyday for the first few weeks of the 2nd Tri. By trial and error I figured out it was a blood sugar thing and that I needed to eat more often. Since I've made some snacking adjustments, I haven't had another one.
