Heart rate and gender?

Mine was 150 and now has settled at 140 at 21 weeks and Twirp is a girl.

First appt. Hb was 155bpm second was 140bpm, third was 140 bpm and my babes is a boy!! So in love!

This has been pretty much 100% disproven.
The only theories that have stood the test of time are the skull and nub theories.

It does hold true for some people, but it means nothing. The heart rate is more dependent upon gestational age, mom's activity and anxiety or state of relaxation, and baby's activity. Even if baby is completely still, he or she may have just discovered they can wiggle their fingers, and this excites them and speeds up their heart rate...it doesn't mean it's one gender or another.

My bubs HB has been high, and all is pointing towards a boy from 13wk scan.

I heard girls were high and boys lower.

I dont remember with my other two lol.
I herd heartbeat at 15, 16 and 18weeks 5days. i was only ever told the at 18.5weeks heartbeat was 150bpm which indecates a girl. had my 20 week scan yday and its a boy

same, the lady at the 4d scan guessed the gender by heartbeat until we saw Ava's hamburger!

whats a hamburger? lol what does it look like a girls bits on a scan? never seen my girls bits on a scan. is it just flat with lines? nothing sticks out? lol

We saw our little boys legs and little something between them sticking out yday lol

My son's highest hb was 142. This one has been up in the 160s. I am still convinced it is a boy because I have too much pressure on me to have a girl LOL

We didn't get the exact heart rate number but my MW (not my usual one though) while she was listening said "do you think it's a girl?". making me think she thought i was having a girl... scan told us a very definate boy.

At 9 weeks my son's was 180 bpm. At 13 weeks it was around 160 from what I remember. Then at 18 weeks it was around 150/160 bpm again. According to the wives tales, it points to a girl - but I'm having a boy

At 12 weeks my babies heartbeat was 150 and the same at 16 weeks. I haven't found out the sex yet, but I have my mid-trimester scan next week (I'll be 18 1/2 weeks) so I'm REALLY hoping we find out then!

It didn't work for my friend. The midwife listened to the heartbeat and said "so you're having a boy then". My friend didn't know and didn't want to know and she had a girl x
