hello :)
i had a scan the other day to check on my ovaries, all looked fine, but the sonographer said as i was leaving that i have a heart-shaped uterus.
She said this isnt a problem and wouldnt have any impact on irregular cycles or infertility and that when i do fall pregnant it wont impact on baby at all... although i've read the complete opposite??? anyone know anything about this?

No sorry I don't know anything about it.

All the best :hugs:

Hi there. I have an arcuate uterus, which is a type of heart-shaped uterus. When I did an altrasound, they told me I had a bicornuate uterus, which is also a type of heart-shaped uterus, but the division goes gown further. My doctor said that correct diagnosis is very important regarding an abnormaly shaped uterus and that an ultrasound/sonogram is not the best way to distinguish all types, especially septed vs. heart-shaped uterus. So I did an MRI and it showed up arcuate, which is not a big deal regarding fertility.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, but I'd get an MRI or a HSG just to be sure that the diagnosis is right, since the course of treatment is different depending on what type it is.
