Heartbeat still found quite low

I was using my at home Doppler yesterday and found the heartbeat quite easily however it seemed to be low in my abdomen still. About an inch or two above my pubic bone.

Does anyone know if this is normal or if it should be up higher. I'm not sure if I am just worrying over nothing. I am 16 weeks and 4 days.

Your lo could be upside down? My baby is and the heartbeat is located fairly low.

It's fine, at 16 weeks your uterus is still pretty low and baby has lots of room to move around. I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and at my 25 week appointment the heart beat was found by my hip, from the movements in pretty sure baby's head down lol.

I feel most of baby's movement low. I asked my doctor about this, and she said it was normal for baby to be low and not a problem. My anatomy scan showed that my cervix was long, and my doctor said that was the most important thing.

I STILL find my boy pretty low. He just likes it farther down I guess lol no reason to worry

The baby could just like sitting further down. My guy right now loves to hang out down lower in my uterus, even though I'm 6'1" and he has quite a bit of room. And he just LOVES kicking my bladder. So maybe that's it. As long as the heartbeat sounds good, you and LO should be fine
