Well ladies and gentleman... drumroll please...
.... we're having a BOY!!!!!
I'm SOOOO excited.
Just thought some of you may be interested in a few things:
The heartbeat theory that a high heartbeats are girls: not for me!!! Early heartbeat at 8.5 weeks weeks was 178, 10.5 weeks was 180. Pretty darn high actually.
Ramzi theory: My first ultrasound was at 5 weeks, transvaginal, yolk sac was to MY left LOOKING AT the photo (which one could surmise means the placenta was also to my left looking at the photo). BUT, my 6.5 week ultrasound showed a pretty clear placenta growing on the other side (you Ramzi's know what I mean, the bright white section).
As the weeks went on, the placenta kept growing on that side and I've confirmed with the tech that it is in fact where the placenta is, and that the photo is NOT flipped .
So depending on how you look at the Ramzi one... my 5 week scan would make Ramzi CORRECT. And he did his tests at 6 weeks, so my 6.5 ultrasound could have been too late. But most people don't have scans as early as I do, and certainly not so many. (high risk)
But I say all this just to sort of babble... forgive me.
I'm just so excited to be having a boy. I would have been happy either way. But the idea of raising a son with my husband is just soooo exciting.
So good luck to everyone!!!
