heated leather car seats - ok

I have leather interior in saab with heated front seats. Am I ok to use in pregnancy or will i be part baking baby?

Yeah thats what I was thinking...the other morning was soooo cold (well about 7c) and I really wanted to put it on but thought might be unsafe.
 
I do not think you will be baking your baby. I have heated seats in my cars too, but only keep them on until the seat gets warm, then I turn them off. I think heated seats are safe.
 
I suppose if we have it on low for short bursts it will be fine :)

I'm going to miss that this winter when it's -5 lol, I usually have it on full blast :)
 
I Imagine that before the baby could come to any harm you would be swelteringly hot and have turned off the seat anyhow.

I agree!

As far as I know, you shouldn't be putting yourself in extremely hot temperatures like a sauna etc, but I cannot see how having a car seat heater on during a cold morning is ever going to get you up to a temperature that could do harm?
Personally, it sounds like another paranoia that being pregnant seems to invite!

I m not paranoid...purely making sure this direct source of heat wont damage baby...
