So I keep reading conflicting answers online (WWW is the worst enemy!)
I have been having bad stretching cramps and without even thinking about it, I started using a heating pad on low on my belly. One of girl friends scared me freaking out that I should be doing that and can have hurt the baby and development since things are SO sensitive right now. Anyone ever hear from a dr if its ok or use one and things were fine? HELP!!

i read somewhere that as long as you dont have it on the hi heat and use it for less than 10 minutes your ok. I have scoliosis and have chronic back pain because of it, which is more frequent now that I am pregnant, but have stayed away from mine as it only provides relief on the hi setting

You're probably fine but I wouldn't continue it. The growing fetus isn't able to control it's own temperature yet. When I take a bath these days, I take a warm bath and I don't fill it up passed my belly. Just to be on the safe side.

Don't worry though, just be careful going forward.
